Their brown rice pasta is the worst. Try to get the packets of chreese and use other, non-brown rice noodles. Maybe quinoa pasta?

i actually made quinoa pasta after bc this was too gross to eat! surprisingly really good, although i am pretty sure my italian ancestors are rolling over in their grave XD

Naw, they’d rather you live a long, healthy, happy life! 

The grocery chain here in Austin, HEB, makes their own gluten-free pasta. I’ll give it a go and let you know how it tastes.

Also, what are we going to call our gf vegan blog?!

GF Vegan French Toast

This is the recipe for that french toast Ryan made the other day in case anyone (Emily) wants it!

  • 4 tsp of ground flax seed
  • 8 tbsp of water
  • 4 tbsp well mashed banana
  • 4 tbsp almond milk
  • dash of vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 slices of gf vegan bread (we sliced it in thirds)
  • 3 to 4 tsp of vegan butter

Mix flax with water and let sit for 5-10 mins, add banana, milk, vanilla and cinnamon. Soak bread slices in mixture. Melt butter in pan, cook bread on each side for about 3-4 mins.
